We’re kicking off the Spring season by bringing you modern designs by Cantoni inspired by Pantone’s Spring 2014 Color Report!
According to Pantone, this season’s colors bring a wonderful sense of balance between bright, energetic colors and light, soft pastels with neutral colors acting as a great bridge between the two.
We’ve selected our favorite colors from the list and show you how to incorporate them into your home through various interior settings using modern furniture and accessories! Let’s get creative…
Placid Blue: Found in nature, when standing on its own, Placid Blue brings tranquility to a room or in this case the living room.
Violet Tulip: A whimsical and nostalgic pastel that can be paired with neutrals or all other colors in Pantone’s Spring palette.
Sand:This toasty neutral brings warmth and elegance to a space.
Paloma: Also known as the Spanish word for dove, Paloma brings a soft neutral look that pairs perfectly with pastels or bright colors.
Cayenne: A spicy red that creates excitement when paired with Freesia, as seen in this bedroom.
Freesia: Words like, blazing, illuminating, energetic, sunshine, tropical, and warm come to mind. Freesia’s yellow tone naturally lights up any room.
Celosia: An optimistic orange that adds sophistication when paired with clean white interiors as seen in this bedroom and living area.
Dazzling Blue: In contrast to the quiet Placid Blue, this bright and “Dazzling” blue is electric and sparkles on its own. It also looks beautiful when combined with various accent pieces in its opposite (Placid Blue), navy, or even the happy Freesia as seen below.
