Luxurious and Feminine
When it comes to using neutrals, it’s important to bring in pieces that offer texture and visual interest. In this calming master bedroom, Cantoni designer Terri Mechanic did just that by layering crisp white bedding with faux fur pillows and a cozy throw. The delicate artwork on the taupe painted wall adds further dimension by acting as a focal point while also offering a feminine touch.
Serene and Elegant
Bathed in soothing cream tones, this blissed-out bedroom is high on serenity, providing the ultimate cure for frazzled nerves. Finishing touches and textures like the mesmerizing chandelier, SILK wallpaper and chic metallic accents add interest and elegance to the neutral palette while maintaining the heavenly vibe.
Beachy and Breezy
Cantoni designer Bernadette Capellaro incorporated a peaceful palette of black, white and gray tones to play off this Venice Beach home’s industrial architectural elements, like the polished concrete walls and asymmetrical windows. Clean-lined furnishings, organic materials and a cozy faux fur throw add warmth and texture, resulting in a cohesive and calming respite that sports a breezy, edgy vibe – perfect for California dreamin’.
While it’s often forgotten, neutral tones aren’t confined to whites and beiges. Here, Cantoni designer Elizabeth Lewis-Schramme selected the bed and nightstands from our One and Only collection boasting a sumptuous leather headboard and polished lacquer details handcrafted in Italy. Combine that with the dark gray wall and bedding in various shades of gray to add contrast for a more moody and unexpected take on the conventional neutral palette.
50 Shades of Gray
Although often associated with dark and dreary, gray is a highly underrated and versatile neutral that can transform a room into a serene space while adding an element of mystery and drama at the same time. Case in point: This master bedroom bathed in varying shades of the ideal neutral features the ultra-smooth Nubuck leather bed and bench along with a high gloss lacquer nightstand from our Secret Love collection handcrafted in Italy. The eye-catching crystal chandelier, accent wall, indoor waterfall and metal accents offer even more drama, giving 50 shades of gray a whole new meaning.
Natural and Organic
Another unique way to create a calming, neutral bedroom is through wood accents. Not only does wood offer a neutral palette to work from but it also adds texture and warmth. For this guest bedroom, Cantoni designer Stephanie Stephenson used walnut as the room’s main neutral. She paired our low-profile Ala bed with the Stage nightstands and layered a cozy faux fur throw and ivory rug with a simple pattern to create a warm and inviting space.
