Dining in style is easy for the owners of these envy inducing rooms. Views, accent walls, pops of color and so many more enticing things make these modern dining rooms to die for.
Malibu Project
Sleek, sexy, natural—three words to accurately describe this dining room from “A Malibu Project” by Cantoni LA Designer Bernadette Capellaro.
“My design inspiration was driven by the architectural features of the home, the landscape, and my client’s wishes. I understood the importance of using the same colors that are found in nature. Why reinvent the wheel when the gorgeous Malibu landscape and natural stone surrounds us? We wanted the dining room to be an extension of the outside views.” -Bernadette Capellaro, Cantoni LA Design Consultant
A pop of orange was added to bring the stone to life and give the room a warm inviting feeling, while the small alcoves in the stone wall were given an organic touch by adding small succulents. The juxtaposition of all the organic, rough stone elements with the crystal chandelier creates the perfect balance.
Maister Project
The stunning, modern dining room in the “Maister Project” by Irvine designer Sarah Monaghan was originally insprired by the One and Only collection from Malerba.
“The property sits right on Balboa Island and has an amazing view and since the home is on the water the Bubbles rectangular fixture was the perfect fit for the space. Another great design feature are the nano doors. I love how they open up in the space creating indoor/outdoor living at its finest.”-Sarah Monaghan, Cantoni Irvine Design Consultant.
We know every home can’t have sprawling island views, but as a dining essential Sarah recommends having enough comfortable, yet stylish seating and a table large enough to seat your closest friends and family.
GTE House
For the more minimal of tastes, the “GTE House” is a knockout. Houston designer George Saba is also a skilled architect and had easy design communication with the owner of this Spanish stunner in the hilltops of Monterrey, Mexico.
“One of my objectives was to create a minimalist look featuring the fantastic panoramic views during the day and beautiful city lights of Monterrey at night.”-George Saba, Cantoni Houston Design Consultant.
With impressive views as a canvas, George selected pieces that would accentuate with timeless elegance—a glass top table with a stainless steel base from Gallotti & Radice, bright white Cattelan Italia chairs and a custom sideboard paired with a modern chandelier and a custom rug, finish this room with all of the classic dining room pieces.
