Modern Meets Eclectic

The modern look is often associated with clean lines and cold interiors. Although it’s possible to achieve that museum-like look, that is just one extreme. There are so many ways to incorporate different elements and styles into a modern interior space. The beauty of modern design is its versatility, something that can be seen through many of our designers’ design projects. So today, we’re taking a look at a few of our designers’ past projects and Cantoni furnished rooms that mix and match modern design with eclectic and culturally inspired furnishings and accessories to show just how modern meets eclectic.

The Sanctuary by Josh De La Fuente and Elizabeth Lewis-Cantoni Dallas-Modern Meets Eclectic

Eastern Inspired Accents. East meets West in this sleek and chic high-rise designed by our Dallas design duo Josh De La Fuente and Elizabeth Lewis. The owner wanted to create a zen-like atmosphere with an Asian influence. Our designers transformed the empty condo into a modern sanctuary by combining our luxurious and romantic Italian furnishings with a variety of Eastern inspired accents pieces.

Give your Walls Character: A beautiful piece of art would have sufficed in this modern dining room, since our Spyder Dining Table by Cattelan, one of our bestsellers, acts as the main focal point in the space…but why not add character and give your walls some personality? Our hand carved basswood game heads are an animal-friendly alternative to the real deal and a great dinner conversation starter…

Gamma Crossover Sofa-Cantoni Furniture-modern meets eclectic

Mix Bold with Bold: The safer design route here would have been to let the hand stitched elastic webbing of our Gamma Crossover Sofa be the main attraction of this living room. What makes this sofa such a statement piece is the intricacy of its design. Combining a modern and uniquely designed piece of furniture with bold, colorful artwork and an oversized lamp to spotlight it creates a more visually interesting space.
