Perched on a hillside in Southern Highlands, The Bluffs is a private gated community overlooking Las Vegas Valley with unparalleled views of the mountains and the Las Vegas Strip. To give potential residents a sense for what their custom home could look like at The Bluffs, Blue Heron partnered with Cantoni to furnish a model home and create interiors that would complement the Vegas Modern™ architectural style. From the perfectly situated sectional in the downstairs family room to the unique blue velvet dining chairs, this home breathes modern elegance.

An Idyllic Texas Lake House

With a timeless getaway in mind, the Whaleys called upon Cantoni designer Nicole George to transform their Cedar Creek Lake house into a contemporary dream. Working in tandem, the Whaleys and Nicole offset the hard, cool lines of marble, quartz and tile with warm wood tones of oak in flooring, tan and grey plush upholstery, throw pillows, silver shag rugs, and ethereal two-toned draperies for a look that is modern, open and clean.

A Calming City Escape

For a power couple who were both busy with their full-time jobs, it simply made sense for Rod and Jessica Woodson to settle in a W Downtown Residence. The two turned to Kohl Sudnikovich, a Cantoni designer they had trusted for previous renovations. Kohl, eager to work with the duo again, got right to work. By opening up the floorpan, Kohl was able to play off the abundance of space and light with thoughtfully curated furniture pieces with mirrored or glossy finishes that would capture the perspective of the rooms and the Atlanta skyline beyond.

When Maya Suresh and Suresh Chander decided to build their modern dream home from the ground up, they turned to Cantoni designer Andrea Petor to help bring their vision to life. For their new space, Suresh and Maya wanted a home that was contemporary and stylish, but comfortable as well. Andrea achieved the sophisticated look the couple was envisioning with luxurious lacquered pieces handcrafted in Italy by Malerba. Every room was thoughtfully and carefully planned, right down to the curated colors unique to each space, with each one offering its own retreat.

California native Behrang Ziaeian purchased an industrial four-story townhome in Costa Mesa to fit his busy and hectic schedule as a medical sales rep. With a rooftop deck boasting panoramic city views, Behrang wanted a chill space where four of his friends – also living in the same development – could unwind. With the help of Cantoni designer Bonnie Sly, Behrang was able to answer his need for both form and function with versatile, clean-lined pieces, such as the white and brown glass Cabaret cocktail tables and cowhide Allure lounge chairs.

At Windrose Tower in Legacy West, city views blend with low-profile luxury furnishings and an exciting urban buzz for a cool, elegant aesthetic that is enough to convert any homeowner to high-rise living. With the help of Cantoni designer Jiji Aouji, Windrose Tower’s model unit was given interiors that are as thoughtfully curated as the location, with creamy, black and grey furnishings that complement the kitchen and out on the balcony, patio pieces that sit low to the ground so that no sight is obstructed.

Sophisticated – Yet Alluringly Casual – in Oklahoma

Designed by Nicole George | Photos by Michael Hunter

Brad Haines’ Oklahoma City home is reminiscent of an edgy luxury hotel, a vibe that was conjured by Cantoni designer Nicole George. With an open floor plan and a monochromatic look in mind, Nicole went to work with overseeing the space planning, as well as selecting the interior finishes, furnishings and fine art for the entire 7,000 square-foot home. From a restaurant-worthy dining space to the luxurious master bedroom, this home is a cool and calming sanctuary to the bustling city around it.
