Nestled in the northwestern corner of South Carolina, this sprawling new build sits right on the edge of the glittering Lake Keowee, where the homeowners traded their home in Virginia for the relaxing life of lakeside living. They enlisted Cantoni designer Kohl Sudnikovich for their furniture, lighting, and artwork selection.
For their furniture selection, the couple was interested in exploring clean lines and a minimal look. This request, combined with Kohl’s idea for woodsy earth tones, led the finished look of the home to really emphasize on its natural, outdoor surroundings, pulling out the greens of the trees and the blues of the lake, which can be seen from multiple vantage points through the home’s expansive windows.
Overall, the home’s unique floor plan and stunning lake backdrop made the project all the better in Kohl’s eyes. “I really enjoyed working with the awesome floor plan and the natural flow of the home the most. The selection of Cantoni furniture that we picked fit with ease within the space.”
