Yesterday marked the end of the Spring 2014 High Point Market, but for us this is just the beginning! We asked Cantoni buyers Crystal Torcoletti and Gayla Dycus to share their favorite finds as well as new inspiring design trends. Get the complete list below!
Market Trends:
Gold: We’ve definitely seen an uprise in the introduction of brass and bronze into the home. Now we’re also seeing more of gold embellishments!
Tufted: From chairs to recliners to sofas and even cocktail tables, we are seeing a big trend moving towards tufted pieces in fabrics and leathers!
Dogs: We all love dogs, but who knew that man’s best friend would become a trend? From sculptures to pieces of art, dogs are dominating the design world.
Faux Fur: The strong animal influence at High Point was also showcased through socially conscious designs featuring faux fur embellishments.
Color: This season has definitely been a colorful one ranging from brights to pastels. Our top picks? Red, purple, orange, green, and pink!

Doug Frates never fails to amaze us with his intricate and unique pieces of art glass. His latest piece? The long awaited glass fountain. With its stunning iridescent features and tranquil rhythm, the new work of art did not disappoint.

Whereas, color seemed to be a larger trend in the accessories department, neutrals were dominating at American Leather who introduced a new line of simple yet elegant neutral fabrics.
